The trajectory of SINOFN is rooted in the clinical work of our founder, Mrs. GuoHong Liu. During her time in pediatric healthcare, Mrs. Liu witnessed the severe hardships faced by families of children diagnosed with Phenylketonuria (PKU). Phenylketonuria requires strict, lifelong adherence to medical diets devoid of the amino acid phenylalanine. At the time, imported medical foods were financially inaccessible for the vast majority of local families, causing preventable neurological progression in affected children.
Determined to resolve this issue, Mrs. Liu founded SINOFN in 2012 to develop affordable, domestic formulations that match the nutritional excellence of international medical brands.
